YSTR45 DNA Testing

The YSTR45 DNA test comprises a combination of both the YSTR18 and YSTR27 tests. It is made up of the following STR markers:

These 45 markers generate a very high resolution Y chromosome haplotype or signature which allows identification of related chromosomes (matches) who share recent common ancestry. The standard 12 markers are included which allow comparison with both published data and publicly available databases. These are supplemented with a further 33 markers (both fast and slow) to make EthnoAncestry’s highest resolution Y chromosome product.
