Haploview DNA History Testing

Our Haploview test is ideal if you are new to genetic genealogy and want an overview of your deep male line ancestry. Our test goes beyond the basic haplogrouping offered by the Genographic project and we guarantee to provide a positive result if another DNA test company was unable to predict your haplogroup.

The Haploview tests looks at 96 markers called SNPs (see below) found on the Y-chromosome. Each SNP helps to define your Haplogroup and sub-group. Haplogroups are strong indicators of geographical origin and can help identify the region of the world your male ancestors came from. More details are available at our information page.

The cost of our Haploview test is US$139. There is no DNA Extraction charge for this test. However, unlike our other tests, you cannot upgrade to newer test options offered by EthnoAncestry. This test can only be taken by men, we suggest women recruit a brother or other male line relative to be tested.
